Microfluidic Device | Y-Serpentine Micro-channels | Bonded Device
This product is a Microfluidic Y-Channel Serpentine device on PMMA, PLA, and Glass substrates. The device is bonded (closed) using versatile bonding techniques, ensuring no leakage occurs at high pressure applications. It has custom connectors attached on the top surface, to interface with tubings.
This device can be used for studying fluid flow properties such as flow characteristics, and interaction between two micro-particles inside the fluid, among other things at a micro-level.
The aspect ratio (width : depth) of the channels is 1:1. PMMA offers good transparency and chemical inertness. PLA offers ability to fabricate complex structures. Glass offers high transparency and chemical inertness.
